About Blue Rewards

  • This is a customer loyalty programme wherein each selected transaction with MFL shall be rewarded with loyalty points. 
  • The loyalty points will have a corresponding rupee value which can be redeemed against repayment of interest in Gold Loan. 
  • The redemption is subject to certain Terms and Conditions which is specified under Redemption Rules below. 
  • Different schemes / transactions have different loyalty points attached to it as per the table below.

The programme offers extra loyalty points to vintage customers of MFL (those who have completed 24 months with MFL from UCIC creation date).

Muthoot Blue Guide Gold Loan Rewards

“Blue Rewards” General Rules

  • A. From the launch date of Blue Rewards, every transaction done under a UCIC shall earn loyalty points as mentioned above.
  • B. Vintage customers will get extra loyalty points i.e., 1.5 times of the points earned by non-vintage customer for the same transaction.
  • C. Gold Loans with its base interest rate 20% or above will fetch more points than schemes with interest rate below 20%.
  • D. Digital disbursals will fetch extra points (as per point 3 in the table above). This is applicable for gold loans up to 1.99Lakh and MTSS up to Rs 50000/- only
  • E. *Conversion value of 1 loyalty point will be 50 paise.

“Blue Rewards” Redemption Rules

  1. Currently redemption is permitted only against repayment of interest in Gold Loans.
  2. Prerequisite for Redemption: - minimum 3 gold loans under a UCIC since its creation.
  3. Minimum 50 points should be redeemed at a time.
  4. No redemption against Loan Principal permitted.
  5. Redemption value shall not exceed 20% of the interest accrued.
  6. Validity of Loyalty points: Validity of Loyalty points earned will expire on completion of 18 months from its date of generation.
  7. Cancellation or reversal of any transaction will lead to reversal of points.
  8. If any UCIC is blocked/Inactive, then the redemption will also be blocked
  9. Redemption value shall be based on the applicable conversion rate as decided by the Company at the time of redemption.
  10. Conversion value for each loyalty point earned during 15th March 2021 to 12th December 2021 is 50 paise and for transactions thereafter it is Rs 1/-. (Limited Period Offer)

The generation, redemption and cancellation of blue rewards shall be subject to the specific terms and conditions as enlisted below. It will also be governed by the terms and conditions as laid out in the documents executed in relation to the respective transactions. The Company has the right and authority to withhold or cancel the accumulated points in case of fraudulent/erroneous transactions occur under any customer account and to exclude the customer from availing the benefit of Blue Rewards for all future transactions as well. The Company also reserves the right to withhold or cancel accumulated Blue Rewards under a customer ID in case of overdue/special mention accounts/NPA accounts. The Company has the discretionary power to exclude any transaction from the Blue Rewards any point of time without prior intimation and shall also have a privilege right to exclude any specific region or change the conversion rates or/and loyalty points eligible for a transaction from the Blue Rewards Scheme at any point of time without prior notification.

If there is any error, please contact us through the respective branch or through the call centre (1800 102 1616) within 15 days of your statement date. Otherwise, it shall be considered as correct and accepted by you. In case of any grievances, you may contact the concerned Branch Manager. If the said complaint is not resolved, then the same may be escalated to the Regional Manager/ Zonal Head. If the complaint is still not redressed, the same may be forwarded to The Grievance Redressal Cell Officer, Muthoot Fincorp limited, Muthoot Centre, Punnen Road, Trivandrum- 695 001 or can write us at customercare@muthoot.com.

Customers may refer all terms and conditions related to the Blue Rewards as published herewith as there will not be any specific communication related to the changes under Blue Rewards.
