How Muthoot FinCorp Limited (MFL) has transformed my life.

I belong to a fisherman community in Rameswaram. All youngsters in his area/community take fishing as their occupation and have never thought about a white-collar job. However, I was an exception, as I wanted to pursue a career with a reputed organisation and was the first one in his family to become a graduate.

At a l was not sure on what to do after completing his graduation. Due to non-availability of a suitable job, I gave into to dejection and started fishing along with family and other friends. When Muthoot FinCorp Limited opened a branch at Thangachimadam in Rameshwaram, things took a drastic turn. I attended the interview and got selected as a Customer Service Executive.

I promised myself that I would build a career in and with MFL.

With this aim, I started working towards my ambition of becoming a professional. When people from my village came to know that one of their family members is employed with MFL, they felt extremely honoured. As a token of gratitude to Muthoot FinCorp, my community members started transacting with the MFL branches. They continue to support both  MFL and me. With the support of the seniors and team, I have moved up the ladder from CSE to Branch Manager. In honour of the support extended to him by his Regional Manager, he named his son “Benil”.

Good people, strong organisational values and self-determination are the three hallmarks of my journey as a Muthootian.
